    We stopped by Coquette's to get our sugar fixes, and they came through. The brownies are delicious, and are very moist and light, almost cake-like. The cupcakes are even fluffier and come in a variety of flavors. Gluten-free doesn't mean much to me. Still, it's very convenient for anyone else with gluten allergies, and for those looking to jump on the gluten-free bandwagon.

    This place has some of the best gluten-free sammiches this side of the Rockies! A little heavy on the raw onions on the chicken salad, and I'm an onion loving guy, but otherwise just fantastic! My wife got the Cuban, which was also delicious! We bought a bag of gluten-free buns to go and enjoyed those as well. Brightly lit, good for brunch/lunch. More of a Cafe-resturant than a bakery and a more upscale-casual vibe, definitely not a dive. A bit pricy for the casual atmosphere, even taking into account the added expense of gluten-free foods. We'll definitely be back!

    I want to say how nice is it is to have a local restaurant that is entirely gluten free. For someone who has become a truly sensistive Celiac, it is very scary taking the risk eating somewhere that serves gluten free food alongside gluten filled food. I have gotten sick at almost every place we have eaten (and suffered for weeks after) because they do not understand cross contamination. We have eaten here twice. The first time was a late lunch during the week we shared calamari, it was very good but would have been better if it was cooked longer it was a bit soggy and we ended up taking the breading off. My husband had a burger and I had a Cuban, both were good. Our (at the time 13 month old) had a side of hummus and some stuff off our plate, the hummus is very good. We are not the biggest rice flour fans, more of texture than taste issue and we tend to stay away from buying or baking with it. They use a rice flour blend, it tastes good but isn't something I would want to eat often. We had family in town and went here for dinner. It was during the week and they were busy but not packed. We had ahi, meza plate and wings as appetizers, they were very good I would get them again. I would give them 4 stars based on this. If my first and only impression was based on dinner alone I would not go back. The pot pie is cooked in a wine sauce, a very strong one and it wasn't listed on the menu. Our nephew tried to eat it but didn't like the sauce. They need to list that on the menu, he would have ordered something else. I had a crepe and fries, the crepe was missing half of the ingredients but it didn't matter since it all came out cold and I barely touched it. I picked out the chicken for our nephew and daughter to eat. We all ordered regular fries instead of truffle fries and 4 of 5 came out truffle fries and of course mine were the correct ones but cold. We are not ones to complain and send things back, but when asked if we didn't like our food we nicely stated the above. Our waiter was non-chalant about it saying most people like truffle fries, oh yea the pot pie is cooked in a wine sauce it's popular (not for a kid!) and my meal was cold because they were waiting on my husbands food. The fried chicken was outstanding we all picked their plates clean! They do serve a limited number and often times run out. My husband and I agreed we would go back for appetizers and fried chicken. I would like to go for brunch one weekend, but if our food was cold on a non busy week day I am not sure how it would be on a busy weekend.

    Pretty cool place and the unexpected options on the menu were quite good. Check out their spicy hot wings and the black bean burger. Both were pretty good. Wouldn't say go out of your way to this place, and while it won't knock your socks off, it's still a solid restaurant. Worth visiting. Ideally, sitting outside seems to be the winning point. Coquette gets really loud, so I had trouble hearing the music in the background and also my partner in crime. Service was good. Parking is a gamble. It's unclear as to what will be available. All I can say is, good luck.

    I had forgotten how nice it was to be able to simply order off the menu without worrying about whether there is gluten hidden in some part of my meal. Everything is gluten-free and made from high quality ingredients, so I was able to choose what i wanted. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich, something that I thought I would never be able to order from a restaurant again, and it was every bit as good as any Monte Cristo I ever tasted - even before gluten-free days. Normally gluten-free bread is dry and crumbly, so I just prefer to go without. I dont know if it was their bread or something they did during preparation but this was excellent and I'm sure that i will be craving another one very soon! I also had an Americana, which was served in a nice glass and was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. What more can you ask for?

    Ten of us had breakfast on a sunny Sunday morning. Had there been four of us we would eaten outside on the nice patio. If I had not been told it was a gluten free restaurant I may not have guessed. Coffee was fresh and strong enough without being overpowering. The Monte Cristo Crepe was chock full of grilled ham chunks, Gruyere cheese and almost a bit too much of the homemade strawberry preserves - I had to pull out a few of the whole berries from the preserves or it would have been too sweet. The truffle fries were crispy and had just the right amount of truffle seasoning and a hint of Parmesan dust on them. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were a tad mealy - I guess that might have given away the gluten free nature of the place.The gravy itself had nice sausage flavor. The home style breakfast had thick cut crisp bacon. The cupcakes and macarons in the case looked great - wish we had tried them!

    Back again and ordered Cuban sandwich . Much better than last burger I had here. Do not get to eat sandwiches and it is a treat as everything is gluten free. Bakery is great. Cookies or cupcakes are moist and tasteful Will be back.

    Stopped by on a PMS fueled whim. I'm not a gluten-free person, but this huge cupcake did not disappoint. The shop has a ton of interesting and yummy sounding flavors (as well as vegan options) and the staff was really kind, despite it being 15 minutes after their closing time. I got the vanilla chai, thinking that even if the gluten-free cake was gross at least the frosting would be good- but I was pleasantly surprised by both. Very sweet but noticeably spiced like a chai. Awesome. Will be sure to stop by again, although at almost $5 for one and for the sake of my waistline, probably not very often.

    Avoid the vegan cupcakes... Seriously one of the nastiest desserts I have ever tried. Do not let the pretty frosting fool you! The consistency was that of a dirty sock and the taste is pretty close to that as well. The girl taking care of my family and I as we picked out cupcakes acted as if we were bothering her.

    The food was good, but the service was soooooo slow. We were sitting outside and our server kept forgetting about us because her other tables were inside. Really great GF place. Bread items were a little more dense than gluten products, but not too much, and they tasted great. EVERYTHING is GF there, which is really great. I had a savory crepe there, but I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. I liked the biscuits and gravy though. I would like to go back to try their desserts. :)

    When I lived in Manitou I would dine at old location and always loved it. It was a nice to see that the new location is just as welcoming and the food still at the same par. I and my friend enjoyed the atmosphere, service and attention to details. Will will be back soon. The Monty Cristo could use a touch more cheese, just saying.

    I wanted to get something sweet and since I eat vegan, I was very curious in trying their vegan cupcakes! The cupcake was a bit smaller than what I thought, and the cupcake itself was a bit dry, but considering that it was vegan, I would still go back and try another cupcake! (I got the chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting). It wast I'll overall good, and I would recommend this place all together!!

    Second time I've eaten there. The first time was good. This time we were extremely disappointed. My wife got the vegan polenta. The size was incredibly small unlike the first visit. I got the shrimp crepe with fries which was not delicate. The fries were from the end of the basket. The server Rachael seemed to like our neighbors and not us. Service was poor at best. We will not go back

    My family and I are gluten free so to find another Resturant that is completely GF is big. I was hopeful that it would be a winner and without a doubt it was a home run. I would recommend the fish and chips, because I rarely get it. Delicious even if it was GF. Fried chicken was a close second. Our group had about everything on the menu and would recommend it. One exception would be the German chocolate cake. I little on the dry side. Props for trying but I would recommend skipping it.

    I brought my mom here for lunch because she's gluten intolerant and we have the hardest time finding places that we both want to eat. Everywhere else she ends up getting just a salad. I have to say, lunch was amazing. I had a grilled cheese sandwich that I couldn't have told you was GF, and my mom had a crepe that she just loved. She was so happy to be able to eat "real food" as she says. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was very friendly. I also found out that they sell food to go, and even deliver if you're nearby. I live a couple hours away from my mom, so I'm thrilled to have something I can have delivered to her for a special treat when I can't take her there myself. Can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend it!

    How awesome to have a fully gluten free restaurant! I had the fish and chips with truffle fries and wasn't disappointed. My kids had the grilled cheese and chicken fingers and loved everything. Loved how the "fruit" with kids meal was a good sized bowl full of grapes, apple and orange slices. Looking forward to trying this place again before we leave town.

    Farmer crepe and Cajun crepe are my current favorite crepes. The staff is usually real friendly, the place is clean. No loud music, so a great place to bring your friends and catch up. I usually prefer the side salad with ranch (it has dill in it) instead of the fries-- but fries are tasty too. I love that I can take my gluten intolerant friends here without asking if they have GF menu--- its ALL GF! :-D Plus full bar--- and they have a happy hour. I love this place.

    Food is pretty good. Moderately priced. In person staff has a blasé attitude. Over the phone the staff is as rude as they can be. I believe that they take an attitude that they can be however they want because they have the only place in town for a specific market. I would really enjoy someone to open another GF restaurant in town, to give this place a little run for their money. Maybe then they would learn that costumer service is just as important as the dietary restrictions of their patrons.

    Just ate from here. The caprese app is amazing , you have to try that. The fish & chips was the best iv ever had, mind you I have had fish & chips from a famous restaurant in London which wasn't half as good. The one here is airy, light & decadent. One star short of 5 because they sold out of chicken pot pie which was my first choice. And they were out of creme brûlée as well as the banana pudding like wth!

    What a dope spot! Will definitely be back. I had the GF wings and Beet salad both great. Everything is GF and the flavors are great. It has a nice sized bar and the desserts in the front are amazing! German Chocolate for me! Might need a few more hours in the gym this week. Will be back the next time we are in the springs!

    Awesome locally run place. Owner is super sweet and chill. Simple, elegant, food is stellar and well made. Only suggestion would be to rearrange their menu with regards to sides since they are hard to find and servers often repeat the choices at each table. Biscuits and gravy were good, montecristo was also great, just a tad dry but still flavorful and I can always appreciate places that serve montecristo sandwiches.

    Outstanding local all gluten free restaurant! We are relatively new to the area and having a wife with celiac disease, living in an unfamiliar area dominated by national chain restaurants can be frustrating to try and find a place with good gluten free options. Needless to say we were anxious to find somewhere to dine locally that not only had gluten free options but tasted good too. Well we found it! Coquette's all gluten free menu supplemented with a knowledge staff, allowed my wife to dine without fear of being "glutened". Eating gluten free without the concern of cross contact, for us, is priority number one. A huge victory comes after experiencing gluten free menu items that actually taste good and not like compressed kitty litter. Coquettes delivered with this in a big way. On our first visit, we ordered enough food to feed five NFL defensive lineman for the two of us. Sweet desert style crepes, biscuits and gravy and a hearty breakfast stuffed crepe dominated our table. It didn't dominate for long though as it was inhaled faster than a Joey Chestnut hot dog on the 4th of July. My utensils moved with cat like speed and precision as I was in a heated battle for plate real estate domination against my wife over the ordered breakfast items. Weekends are now scheduled around dining at Coquettes. Worth mentioning too that the kids menu has options that impressed the palate of our gluten free toddler. In summary: great food, unique menu, comfortable environment, family friendly (but also with a full bar, making it dad friendly) and a knowledgable staff; makes this a must for any one with Celiac disease or any other gluten sensitivities and all food lovers alike.

    I've been gluten free for over 5 years. There are many food items I can't enjoy anymore because of this but Coquettes completely made me forget this. My friend and I started with coffee (his regular, mine Irish) accompanied by cupcakes: snickers and salted caramel for me. The Irish coffee was perfection - the best I've ever had. And the cupcakes were out of this world. I luckily do have a gluten free bakery near where I live with good stuff but I can hardly even compare them to the baked items we had here. Foodgasm evoking starts to lend them the appropriate credit due. When you go here, get one. Eat it. Enjoy it. It truly is worth EVERY SINGLE CALORIE. For breakfast I had sausage gravy and biscuits. This was the original reason for coming here as I went to school in North Carolina and find a great love of and appreciation for this dish. My thoughts: it was very good. I would definitely order it again. My only issue is that it was cold. In hindsight, I should have just asked the server to have it warmed up since it wasn't terribly busy. The home fries were perfect - crispy and hot, and the scrambled eggs were good too - not greasy, not under done. My friend had pancakes with bacon and fruit. Again, amazing!!! The pancakes were thick and dense without being too heavy. You felt like you ate something after consuming them. The bacon was SO flavorful and was just the right amount of thickness. I'm heading back to Maryland tomorrow but we're going to have breakfast again there tomorrow because I 1) need another cupcake in my life and 2) need to try a sweet crepe and a savory crepe. Go here!!! Their good is amazing, the staff is wonderful, the atmosphere it's clean and refreshing without being sterile.

    The first time I came here was for Vegan Taco Tuesday and the tacos were wonderful! But then the next few times I went, they started frying the avocado which is just unnecessary as avocado is delicious on its own, making the tacos WAY too greasy, and not crumbling the bean cake into "taco meat". Most of the servers are super nice, but there's this one whose name I don't remember, but he is pretty much the reason I won't go back. He just makes me feel unwelcome like I'm a burden and when a friend of mine called in to ask if the vegan tacos would have fried avocado again, he told her, "This isn't a vegan restaurant." I understand that, but a lot of vegans do show up to support the vegan options you offer, and you should be grateful for our business. They do have wonderful vegan cupcakes though! I won't be going back however, because the service is not as friendly as I would like.

    We love Coquettes! I love that I can eat anything on their menu. We stopped by on a Tuesday evening with our dogs and a couple friends. Their patio is great and they accommodate well behaved puppies. Not only is their food top notch, but so are their desserts. We enjoy visiting at least a couple times a month. Just a tip, if your dogs are out of control and bark at everything that walks by, this patio is not for you. They take great pride in giving every guest a great experience and we really appreciate it!

    Steak and eggs are not worth the money. Ordered medium rare, got burnt to a crisp. Blintz is on point! Bakery is legit. Servers are hit or miss. Some are on it, and some just take your order and you never see them again. I ordered my mimosa twice and still didn't get it.

    Now mind you, we have been here before. Both times the food was fabulous! But this time we left very unhappy. I don't know what it is about wait staff thinking they can overcharge people because they seem like "out-of-towners". Well surprise, we weren't! First off they were out of tofu, completely. Now what do you expect my vegetarian boyfriend to eat? So we both settled for omelets. Starting price was $6.50, each veggie 50 cents. I ordered spinach, olives, onions, tomatoes and Swiss cheese which was also 50 cents. What does that add up to? $9.00 not the $9.50 I was charged instead. Then my boyfriend orders spinach, tomatoes, and goat cheese which was $1.50. What's that make? $9.00 yet again but was charged $9.25. Next the coffee is drip and TERRIBLE! But we're proper folk and didn't want to make a scene about it. I'm not sure if it was a larger tip you were looking for but we have decided all our next brunches will take place elsewhere. I wanted to rate this place 5 stars so badly but because of this type of thievery that takes place here, I'm left to rate only one. If it could be less, I would rate it less. I hope your 75 cent increase was worth losing local customers.

    Saw the review on Yelp. Great service, excellent food. We shared the ahi tuna app, which was done with flair. Sesame encrusted seared tuna that was flawless. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and I had the burger with goat cheese. Both were outstanding. My burger looked small, but it was very thick. Flavor of the grass fed beef was exactly what I had hoped. Server was attentive, made great suggestions, and wasn't rushed. I plan on returning. Oh, and it's gluten free. Doesn't taste like a sacrifice though!

    This place is amazing! My husband and I just ate there 3 times in less than 24 hours on our babymoon. He has Celiac so this place is like heaven. He said he felt like a normal person being able to order off the menu. We tried a lot of things-a few of our favorites were the Caprese Croquettes, hot wings, biscuits and gravy, truffle fries and the eclairs. Service at all 3 meals was awesome. Happy hour is also a great deal; $3 wine and $6 appetizers - even on weekends! A huge special shout out to the team for finding and holding my purse for me!! Thank you! I left it on the chair and realized it after we got all the way back home to Denver. So, I guess technically we were there 4 times in 24 hours. :) My only suggestion-open one in Denver. Please!! You guys are the best!

    When I go to heaven, Coquettes will be there. Because Jesus loves me. On earth as it is in heaven. Forever and ever, amen. But really, best gluten free food that doesn't taste like gluten free food. The Caprese Bites from the appetizer menu are to die for. The fish and chips are always cooked to perfection. Just go and eat anything and be merry. Tip...Saturday and Sunday brunch has $3 mimosas and great GF waffles and they have 3-6PM happy hour during the week.

    My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for years (back when it was in Manitou Springs). We finally decided to try their new location on Tejon Street and let me say we have never been so disappointed in a Colorado Springs restaurant, ever. We are both in the military and have a 1hr lunch break (not to include travel time from our base). We entered their new location around 11:50, sat down and received our drinks promptly. The restaurant was empty so we knew we came at the right time. We ordered our food around 12 and didn't receive our appetizer until 12:20; 20 minute wait for an appetizer in an empty restaurant? Despite our frustration we kept an open mind about our main course. Our main course consisted of sandwiches, they didn't arrive until 12:40, we have to be back on base by 1:00pm. Our waitress was very sweet and courteous but seemed to pay more attention to her other patrons than ourselves (we were both in uniform). We don't expect special treatment but we certainly don't want to be ignored. My husband and I will never eat at this restaurant again. Their food is absolutely delicious but their service is bottom-shelf with zero regard for food timeliness. I do NOT recommend this restaurant if you have a fixed weekday schedule.

    I ordered the Rise and Shine crepe and truffle fries, and was very excited to dig into my meal. However, when it arrived (after a good 30 minute wait, might I add), my crepe was lukewarm, the hollandaise sauce was poured ad nauseum over the whole thing and a minuscule amount of hard cheese was tossed near--not on--my fries. I told my waiter about the problem very politely and he took my plate while my friends continued eating. When they brought my food back it was no warmer and much harder. My fairly expensive food had been MICROWAVED. I muscled through a bit more of it, but it was with the same disgusted force with which I eat McDonalds. In addition, my friend's "grilled" cheese was more of a soggy mess than a creative twist on a classic. The only reason I'm giving this utter disappointment of a dining experience two stars is the fact that the three cupcakes I sampled were magnificent.

    Today I went to the new location again, the food and service were fantastic this time! We had the monte cristo, the fried chicken, and the chicken pot pie. All were fantastically prepared! What a treat! Then of course we had to get dessert. The eclairs are my absolute favorite! A few cupcakes for the road and we were set! I would like to add this server was fabulous and very attentive! Hopefully I will be back soon!

    While discussing where to get lunch, my office mates decided we'd try a new place--Coquette's. We drove there and ordered takeout. We waited for 40 minutes! By the time we got the food, we were in a hurry to get back to the office and it never occurred to us to check our orders before we left the restaurant. I must admit everyone thought their food was good, however, one person's fries were missing from their sandwich order.

    My 8 year old son is gluten sensitive and misses certain foods they just can't seem to get right gluten free. We are visiting from fort collins and found this place. He was soooo excited he could order anything he wanted. He got a corn dog and loved it! The rest of us loved our food as well and didn't miss the gluten at all! We'll be back again before we go back to fort collins. I wish you would open one there!

    I was expecting a teeny little bakery, but this is a surprisingly roomy restaraunt with servers and chandeliers. The purpose of our trip wasn't to avoid gluten, but if you need to, you have that opportunity here. I had the grilled cheese with spinach and bacon and tomato and several kinds of cheesy cheese, and my kid had a monte cristo, both of which were crazy delicious. I begged the server to bring me a little thing of the cajun sauce to dip my fries in (Since the cajun crepe was a close runner up when selecting, I wanted to try it) and it was SOOOO GOOOOD. Give yourself lots of time since all the people have figured out how tasty this place is, it stays busy!

    Tried this place last night, it was wonderful. They list themselves as American, but im not sure why, as all of their food has french flair. I ordered the cajun crepes and they were very very good, also their caprese bites appetizers were awesome(this is also a french dish), my husband got the potpie.. which also seemed to have a french twist to it.. loved this place.. we will be back.

    As a gluten intolerant diner, I was thrilled when I first learned of this restaurant. Upon experiencing it for myself, I was immediately hooked! The food is bursting with flavor and the bread has a wonderful texture. As anyone with Celiacs or gluten intolerance knows, this is a great accomplishment! Even in following visits, I've never been disappointed with the service or quality of food. Coquette's is now one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs!

    Went here at an awkward time with a large party - they took call-ahead and seating and were willing to let us nibble off the bar menu until after dinner started. We sure were glad we waited; my husband and father are both celiac and this is the first time they were ever able to go out to eat and try everything on the table! What a blessing - so delicious, and fresh... My husband (a 25 year veteran of the kitchen) said he would work for this kind of restaurant for free, the passion and love in his food was so good. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate and share as a family, with no fears of toxic reactions at two am. And you better believe - we ALL saved room for those delicious desserts! Our party enjoyed the hummus plate, the bruscetta (all gone within minutes, I assure you) for appetizers. For dinner there were two kinds of hamburgers, a chicken pot pie, a crepe, fish and chips, and the flank steak. Last of all we finished up with cake, cupcakes, cannoli, and eclairs galore! Our server was solicitous, the restaurant was busy but not overwhelming. A phenomenal family meal we will repeat, hopefully frequently!

    Some of these reviews make me chuckle! This is my absolute favorite place to eat in the Springs. I eat here at least twice a month and have never ever had a problem with any of the food. The previous location/staff gave terrible service but they have made the right changes :) Thanks Coquettes!!

    Lovin their new downtown location. I great place to dine casually for a moderate price AND enjoy delicious food. Had the chicken pot pie - YUM!!! The server seemed to be having a bad day. The good food made up for it.

    100% gluten free - what could be better?!? This place is fantastic. Delicious food, great ambiance, and great service. Despite some other recent reviews with bad service experience, ours was excellent. Prompt, attentive, and everything was correct. Not to mention the total awesomeness of ordering gluten-free biscuits and gravy. Yum! Will definitely be back.

    Never before has gluten free tasted so good! I loved the vegetarian friendly options too. Everything from the martinis to dessert was to die for. The staff was friendly, atmosphere clean with the appropriate level of kitsch. I even applaud the musical selections played from Depeche Mode and The Cure. Well done!

    We stumbled upon this place on a walk downtown. The servers were friendly and since it was our first time we got a nice explanation of everything. The entire menu is gluten free and all their bread is baked in-house, which we liked very much. My wife had the chicken pot pie, which was good but not great, and I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. The chicken salad and bread were both delicious, but the large chunks of chicken (normally not a complaint, I know) and the thick homestyle bread made it very awkward to eat. I spent more time wiping my face and picking food up off of the table than eating. I was undecided between that and the Fish and Chips and when I saw a plate of the latter go by to someone else's table I regretted my choice! All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I would certainly go back if I had another chance. The one real negative is that the place is extremely loud. I suggested to the hostess that they do some sort of baffling or noise reducing material.

    One word: PHENOMENAL! Obviously high quality ingredients and fresh made! Very food allergy (nut, gluten, dairy) conscious! Actually have carrot cake WITHOUT nuts! Husband had the Cajan Crepe and it was amazing! Eggs were delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

    Great restaurant and food. I had the burger with bacon and goat cheese with the truffle fries, very good combo! My boyfriend had The Cuban Sandwich and truffle fries. Cocktails were made perfectly! The staff was great including a helpful waiter, named Dave! We were in town for my birthday and arrived later then expected. He gave us a heads up on the downtown scene and nearby places to check out. We didn't have room for the yummy cupcakes but wish we did. Go and enjoy!!!!!

    New location but still just as (and probably even more) "Boldly Luscious"! We had the pleasure of dining at Coquette's when they were located in Manitou Springs and fell in love! The food and the people are wonderful! We are so happy to see them in Colorado Springs now! Everything on the menu is gluten free! That's right, EVERYTHING! There is so much to choose from, it can be a bit overwhelming but having a gluten allergy and being overwhelmed by a menu is a welcomed feeling! I enjoyed lunch there today, with a friend who isn't gluten free, for their grand opening. Their menu is loaded with new items. I had a Monte Cristo sandwich with truffle fries. It was absolutely delicious! The batter was airy and crispy! Yummy! My friend agreed that everything was amazing. They have added a beautiful new bar with tons of seating. Along with several tables around the restaurant. They also have a retail spot up front with cases of gluten free desserts. It's like a heavenly dream! Cupcakes, Twinkies, cakes, cannolis, etc OH MY! Have fun trying to figure out which ones to take home. You can not go wrong with this place whether you're gluten free or not. Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

    Wonderful place to visit and sample the very good menu. We have eaten there twice and plan on going back many times. We had the hangar steak and fish and chips. Both were fabulous. Also had the Monte Cristo sandwich and the Denver omelette, again both wonderful. Our server Jeff was very good and knowledgeable on the menu. But the real treat was the desserts, cakes are to die for, cupcakes very good.

    Didn't think this place could get any better, but the new location really works. Better bar for happy hour snacks and drinks. More upscale and adventuresome menu. The bakery section is easier to see and is more stocked then before. Good job guys, can't wait to come back, and I am not even worried about gluten in my diet.

    Their samples at whole foods are always good so I took the dive and bought a 4 pack of the vegan banana cupcakes- huge disappointment. For a $9 investment in 4 small cupcakes I expect great cupcakes - at least what I experienced in the sample. Alas the cupcake was dry and crummy inside rather than the gooey rich moist interior I experienced from the sample. The frosting is super super sweet. I was very disappointed. Tried to contact via twitter to see if this was the norm but it's been a few days and I haven't heard back. I'll be sticking with trader joes gluten free next time.

    Love this place! The entire menu is gluten-free and phenomenal! Be sure and check out the Sunday brunch menu... the biscuits and gravy are sure to be a favorite of any g-free foodie.

    Sister brought me here cause of her gluten allergy. Thought the food would be bland, but no! What a pleasant surprise. Had the chicken salad sandwich with fries. The sandwich filling was NOT plain chicken meat buried in a sort of white, pasty mayo sauce. I'd say it was more like equal parts chicken, carrots, celery, and sauce. The sauce was a little watery but went well with the extra crunchy slices of buttered bread. The fries are fried in truffle oil. It changes the flavor of the fries subtly but in a nice way. I didn't need to add any ketchup like I normally do for fries. Finally, I had the iced tea, unsweetened. I normally don't go for tea because it's always too bland. But when I saw on the menu the tea had hints of chocolate and orange, I had to try it. Wasn't disappointed because it had enough flavor for me. Interior mood is low-lighting during supper. They have treats displayed in sort of a diner way in the front of the store. Dress is definitely casual. Can't see it ever being formal here.

    The food is amazing and the service is even better. The staff is very efficient and incredibly knowledgable in the meaning of exemplary customer service. We've had the same server both times we have gone and I swear, I blink and my water is filled, the food is out, and the check is on the table. He is subtly efficient, fast, and sincere in his commitment to quality service. The rest of the staff is clearly committed as well. Everywhere you look there are friendly greetings and smiles. Management should know they have an incredible team and because of that, our loyal patronage.

    My husband has been gluten intolerant for about a year, and I have been intolerant of all the terrible gluten free versions of food we've been eating for roughly the same amount of time. I was dubious, but our meal at Coquette's was among the best meals - gluten free or otherwise - we've had this year. Just wished we lived closer so we could be regulars!

    I used to love this restaurant before they move to downtown Colorado Springs. Now they do not offer many creeps and the food is not great. I asked for waffles for breakfast and the waitress told me it was too much labor to do it. The food was too salty and the French toast very soggy. We wanted dairy free eggs and she again said it was too labor intensive to crack the eggs vs using them out if a carton. I don't think I will be back! The decoration of the place is really pretty and modern, but because it is so modern it is not cozy at all .

    The atmosphere of this place is very pleasant and open. The servers were very nice. The only reason I only give it 2 stars is this: I ordered a pancake and it arrived at my table completely uncooked. Underneath the golden brown top layer it was basically just batter. The server apologized and brought me a new one, which was also uncooked. I hate to be uptight, but it's a pancake....probably the least complicated item on the menu.

    After reading reviews of the old location in Manitou as well as the new location on Tejon I was looking forward to a dinner at Coquettes. The interior is simple and clean, albeit confused and in search of any cohesive theme, design or color palette. On arrival I was greeted by friendly staff who quickly sat our party. Our drink order was taken and we started to peruse the menu. The initial impression of the menu, sadly, was based on the menu itself. Its barely 60 lbs copier paper, and each one had signs of being wet at one time, dirty here and there and generally shabby looking. My enthusiasm was renewed as I read the offerings. There are some delightful dishes with interesting flavor combinations. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles, the others in our party ordered the pot pie, and fish and chips. Our house speciality cocktails arrived, which were quite tasty despite their demure size and downtown rent price tag. Our food arrived in a timely enough manner to allow unhurried drink enjoyment. As my plate went down in front of me the smells were inviting. The fried chicken and waffle is a hefty $16 for the base model, add $2 for a ramekin of Grade B maple syrup (which I upgraded to), for a total of $18 for southern comfort food. $18 is a fine entree price if it all sings, but this plate was a tone deaf mute. The chicken was a drumstick, wing and a thigh, while they were very well cooked, moist and flavorful, its a departure from the usual breast I was expecting. The waffle was 3/4s of a round belgian style. It was obvious the waffle was cooked in the iron first, then reheated and served. The evidence being it was uncooked in the middle and all the thin edges of each wedge were black. No waffle iron Im aware of cooks in that fashion, but an oven/salamander does. The grits were cold and solidified, and lacking any flavor at all. The syrup was in a ramekin, but clearly corn syrup, its long sticky legs, manufactured flavor and highly lubricous viscosity giving it away. I will write the syrup off as a mistake in communication, service was otherwise very good. I sampled the pot pie, whose contents were delicious, but the crust was undercooked and doughy. The fish and chips were quite good. The batter was light and crisp, and the fish was cooked well. The fries were crisp and flavorful with a hint of truffle oil. I made my feelings about my entree known, and the waiter removed it from my bill and was quick to offer another dish, but I declined. In a scene right out of cable TV, one of the kitchen staff walked out through the dining area and shot me a sideways glance- coincidence? While this establishment has been around for 4 years, moving to a new location has clearly generated some teething pains. One cannot be all things to all people, perhaps my experience is not typical. I hope my criticism offered here is put to good use and improvements are implemented. The "heart" of this establishment is in the right place, but its execution needs tuning.

    We have been hear 2x- once in Manitou and then when it moved to downtown. Both times we had the same experience. Food is good, but the service is something to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it if you are with small children who want to eat. We do not plan to return

    I had the most incredible biscuits and gravy for brunch today. As someone who must eat gluten free this place is like heaven on earth. Non stop food orgasms every time I eat here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The meals are nicely portioned but the bakery is out of this world. Gluten free or not this is one of the best restaurants in town.

    I very much enjoyed the savory crepe and salad that I had. Service was wonderful and I wnjoyed the outdoor seating...however the chairs outside were not super comfortable and we were kind of squished into the couple sitting next to us. But the food was absolutely delicious and I would go again in a heartbeat!

    Well i have to say that i was disappointed with the menu choices. I loved it when they were in manitou the menu there was fantastic. So first impressions are spacious, clean, and modern-ish looking. The menu was very cheap. A piece of paper front and back. It was like they printed them on normal cheap printing paper and of course their stained from not being protected in anything. My opinion is if your going to make everything look high end then you need a menu that follows that and is easier to read. I had the biscuits and gravy and for 12 dollars all i get is 1 biscuit 2 eggs which were brown. (For anyone out there that doesn't know, brown eggs means burnt eggs) and fruit or potatoes. I opted for potatoes which were unfortunately the best thing on the plate. Service was sub par. Didn't get a refill until the end of the meal plus my wife wanted another mimosa but again did not want one after we finished. Bought pastries on the way out super good. Overall very noisy, im sure service normally is better, but not this time. Please return to a better more clearer menu. I wont be returning anytime soon and when i do return it will be a short trip for the pastries until some of these issues are addressed.

    Huge fan of this place, not because they are gluten free...because they have amazing food. I have been a fan since they were in Manitou and often drive from Stetson Hills to just see what they had in the dessert cart. They also have some of the best mixed drinks I have ever had. Add to all that real quality food at a fair price...it's really tough to beat for a unique place that is constantly expanding(business growth) with out damaging the product they are proud to serve.

    Okay. I am going to write this as fair as possible. My daughter was just diagnosed with celiac disease and after she was diagnosed I realized I had the same symptoms and I tested positive as well. We have started our gluten-free lifestyle which was something I used to think was just a diet fad. Now that I am more educated I realize it is a serious disease process with serious consequences. That being said we were told about coquettes. When I arrived there it was extremely busy. My first downfall was that nobody greeted me. Several people even passed by me and were greeted by The staff members, but no one made eye contact with me and nobody even said anything. I also had into a three-year-old and a five-year-old who are very hungry. I ended up finding a staff member and asked where the restroom is work because my three-year-old had to go. After tracking her down she thought that I was with the party of three that were waiting for some other people to join them. I had her put me on the waiting list in case we had been in the bathroom for a while. You know how trips to the bathroom with kids can take forever these days. Fast forward to about 30 minutes total wait time trying to get a seat. I will say the place was extremely packed for a Sunday afternoon. I was a little upset when I was handed a breakfast menu. Most of the items were crapes and eggs. I was hoping for more of a lunch/dinner menu and didn't even think to ask because it was already the afternoon time. Apparently they change their breakfast menu to a dinner menu around 2 PM. We just missed the cut off. So I ended up ordering an omelette with some hollandaise sauce while my girls got a peanut butter and banana sandwich, and a grilled cheese sandwich. Both with fries. We waited and waited. I can't ask much for a three and a five-year-old after waiting so long, but I believe it took another half hour for our food to come out...while both of my girls were very riled up. The hollandaise sauce was not what I expected. It was a red bell pepper kind of hollandaise sauce. I know the owner served us after asking her name. She also told me that she was the owner. I also mentioned to her that the kids meals being six dollars looked pretty pathetically small. On the plus I was very happy when she said she would bring me some fruit if the girls wanted more food or an extra side of fries. I was very happy she accommodated us this way as my kids were extremely hungry by this point. She had also mentioned that the cost of milk was included in the kids menus. They had ran out of so many items throughout the day because they were so busy. my kids sandwiches were not served with bread which I was hoping they would be because I wanted to try out the bread since we are so new to silly act disease and gluten free diet. They had to serve them on hamburger buns which she was apologetic for. I was also given a different type of bread as well, and again she apologized for the inconvenience. My girls ate everything and I was extremely grateful for that. Being a new "gluten-free" family makes it challenging to find things that are tasty for kids. In the front there is a bakery where different pastries are served including donuts, cupcakes, bread, cookies, etc. of course I had to order two cupcakes! I knew they had to be expensive because they were gluten-free and my theory was my husband and I could split one and the kids could split one. So I had asked our server a.k.a. the owner if we could take two to go. when we got our bill it was close to $40! My jaw dropped. The cupcakes themselves or $4.50 a piece! Well I must say they were extremely tasty, I think we could bake something similar at our home and have way more to go around. I wish that I had got a dinner menu/lunch menu. I think my experience would have been way better. I wanted to give them two stars for today but I have to admit they were extremely accommodating and apologetic and they were busy. I have been a server before and I understand if this can be a challenge. I am very grateful that there is a gluten-free restaurant around, I just wish that there was somebody around who was able to hear my concerns rather than having to voice them after-the-fact because they were so busy. My suggestion, is that they open up a new building or expand. It is very cramped for my style. again I really want to think the server/owner "Turu" who helped us out today. She was very accommodating, and really helped me not give up on this restaurant altogether. I would love to give this place another shot. Again at dinner time and maybe at not such a busy hour. And I will come back and hopefully write a better review next time.

    I picked up some vegan cupcakes for a friend's birthday. They were pretty darn awesome and showed up his own homemade birthday cake. I felt pretty bad.... but the chocolate chocolate and chocolate coconut cupcakes were sooooo good. Only bummer? I was in about $30 for 6 cupcakes - a bit steep, but I tried to remind myself that vegan baking at home isn't cheap either.

    I mean, it's a 100% gluten free menu, what else could be better? The food was pretty good, taking staples and turning them into a gluten free item. I enjoyed the chicken pot pie and the Cuban sandwich. The truffle fries were...meh, but I'm also comparing Gordon Ramsey's truffle fries from his restaurant Burgr to them so Thats a whole different league. The regular fries were much better and had a nice crispness to them. My son got a corn dog which he had not had one in 4 years so that was extremely exciting for him and it didn't taste too bad! He happily scarfed it. The waitress was attentive and the service was fairly quick. I feel the prices were a bit on the high side, we walked out with a $70 bill for three adult plates, one child, and two cupcakes. Usually we can eat for $30-$40 max. Granted this was 100% gluten free I still feel the prices can come down a notch or two to be more family budget friendly for a larger family to enjoy without breaking the bank! The cupcake was tasty but a bit on the dry side. Perhaps an off day? So to sum it all up, would I go back? Yes, but next time I'll whip up a dessert at home instead. Five stars for a 100% gluten free friendly menu. Don't let the cooks get slack on the food, you've got something amazing going on! Keep it going and building it up! People like us need more people like you with businesses that understand our dietary needs! Props.

    I'd been looking forward to trying this place out. I went with my mother-in-law and two kids for a brunch on a Sunday. It was a beautiful day but when we asked to sit outside hostess seemed very reluctant although there was plenty of seating. Not sure why but it certainly wasn't welcoming. We ordered our food (simple eggs and toast for the kids and crepes for the adults) and waited. And waited. And waited. My kids were behaving well but how much are you going to ask of a two and three year old? When I saw people who had been seated more than 30 minutes after us get their food, I went in and let them know we'd been waiting 45 minutes. The hostess rather abruptly told me she'd check. Almost immediately our food came out, but it had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I would have sent it back but we had already been waiting so long I didn't want to risk it. So we ate the dried out, lukewarm food. I understand that mistakes happen. But what matters to me is how a business handle themselves when mistakes happen. Coquettes did not handle themselves well. The manager should have come out to apologize. Or at the very least explain what happened. But what we got was the waitress saying when she brought our bill that she "took off a cappuccino" since our food took so long. Seriously!? We had to ASK for our food after waiting 45 minutes and you took a whopping $4 off our bill?! I won't be back. And I certainly won't recommend it to others. Many businesses have come and gone from this location. I'm pretty sure with the unprofessional way they're conducting their business, Coquettes isn't going to be around long either.

    Loved it! Was with a large group, so I was able to try a lot of different things... The fried calamari, caprese bites, Cuban sandwich, crepes, truffle fries, fish'n chips--all good!. Taking cupcakes home, so haven't tasted those yet, but they had over ten flavors--unheard of in my celiac world...

    Coquette's is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. My fiancé and I went in for our Valentine's Day outing, and it was my first time in the new location, and it was also my first time eating there to experience its menu shift; I used to go there when it was simply a creperie. The two of us had a very nice lunch. We had very friendly and speedy service, and the food was really great. I tried their iced tea ($2.50), which is black tea with hints of chocolate and orange. That meant it struck a nice balance between sweet and bitter. That, and there was an orange slice as a garnish instead of lemon, which was a pleasant twist. We ordered the calamari ($8), which is served with a side of red pepper aioli, for our appetizer. It was cooked thoroughly, but the larger pieces fell apart very easily. The breading was very light, almost like tempura batter. The spices on top also added a very pleasant kick. My fiancé ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich ($10), since he'd been craving one for a really long time. I stole a few bites, and I enjoyed it. The batter was also very light, more doughnut-like than other Monte Cristos I've had before. Thankfully, it wasn't overly crunchy, either. My own food was equally good. I tried the Cajun Crepe with a side of truffle fries ($13). The crepe itself was very fluffy, and I loved the bite-sized shrimp. And the sauce was divine, and very creamy. The fries weren't overloaded with Parmesan, which was a relief, and they were the perfect level of crispiness. To top off our lunch, we both ordered cupcakes ($4.50 each). My fiancé had the salted caramel, and I had the vanilla chai. They were both very fluffy, with rich frosting that wasn't overly sweet.

    A great restaurant with a great new location! Totally gluten free offerings of all your favorite dishes, don't worry you won't miss the gluten and your body will thank you! Do plan on saving some room for dessert or take some cup cakes with you for the road because they are all fresh baked and amazingly decadent, oh and of course gluten free. Very personable stuff, laid back and relaxed(willing to joke with you) but attentive.

    sooooo amazing to be able to order anything at a restaurant and know you're safe! Great menu, good selection, tried 2 dishes (Tula crepe and caprese bites) and liked them. Well executed food, good service, exciting dessert options. Critiques: would be nice if the flour wasn't just rice-based as rice is not ok for all. And the wine list could use some growth to join this menu! And also, the dessert prices: $7.50 for a slice of cheesecake (GF or not) is a bit ridiculous.
